Cadets Jordan LaPresta, Constance Keefer and Madyson Myers were selected out of many cadets to represent CCHS NJROTC at the 2025 Leadership Academy at The Citadel. It included cadets from SC, NC and Northern Georgia. Cadet Keefer’s platoon finished 1st after the week of PT and drill. Each cadet graduated and earned a certificate.
Colleton County School District was well represented at the South Carolina Association of School Administrators i3 Summer Leadership Conference. Several staff members were recognized for completing Silver, Gold and Platinum levels of CEEL classes through the SC Department of Education. The Principal of Bells Elementary presented a session on building positive school culture. Additionally, Colleton County School District was recognized for the percentage of students meeting standard on the SCReady College and Career Ready Assessment.

Mrs. McDonald has served Colleton County School District as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and as the Coordinator of Assessment & Accountability. We wish her well after all of her hard work & dedication to the district.
"The Colleton County High School Chorus proudly presented Into the Woods on Friday, May 16, 2025, and Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Colleton County Performing Arts Center. They also delighted audiences with a special Sunday performance on May 18, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Under the direction of Mr. Dustin Ousley, who is celebrating his first year as the CCHS Choral Instructor, the students showcased their remarkable talent and dedication. A heartfelt congratulations to all the performers for their hard work in bringing this beloved musical to life!"
