Ms. Beach shared "I would like to shout out my partner teacher, Mrs. Jessi Deal. She teaches 5th grade Math and Science at Northside , and she sets the bar on making relationships with our students. Mrs. Deal diligently spends time incorporating morning meetings to build on her relationships with her students. Beyond that she is phenomenal with incorporating small groups to meet the different needs of her students. It is said that "No significant learning can occur without a significant relationship." Mrs. Deal certainly has that covered! "

Ms. Apligido shared "Even though I wasn’t feeling my best today, I was deeply touched by the kindness and understanding my students showed. I know they also notice it and In my first block, one student volunteered to distribute the worksheets while everyone stayed focused and cooperative. Another even volunteered to open the door when someone knocked. In my second block, one student offered to get water for me, and another even went to the clinic to check if there was anything that could help. Their thoughtfulness and initiative truly warmed my heart and reminded me why I love teaching ,because of the compassion and respect my students show, even in small but meaningful ways, and I do appreciate it being a new international teacher here. "
Congratulations to Ms. Apiligido and keep up the great work!
