Class of 2021
A ticket is required for persons three(3) years and older for admission to the 2021 commencement ceremony at Colleton County High School. Graduating seniors will receive five (5) tickets each that will be distributed during graduation practice. Assembly for practice takes place Friday, June 18, at 9:00 a.m. in the Performing Arts Center (PAC). Masks must be worn in the PAC during graduation practice. The senior tailgate party will take place at the conclusion of graduation practice.
Commencement will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 19, at Cougar Stadium. Students need to be in proper attire with cap and gown in the PAC at 6:30 a.m. Young Ladies: White dresses (must not be longer than robe) and white shoes (heels strongly discouraged) Young Men: White dress shirt, black or navy blue tie or bow tie, black or navy blue pants and black shoes (no sneakers or shorts) Students who do not attend practice will not participate at graduation.
In the event of inclement weather, we will postpone commencement until 7:30 p.m. June 19, then Monday, June 21, at 8:30 a.m. if necessary.
Transcripts, final report cards, tickets, and cords will be provided at practice.
GRADUATION DAY
Enter CCHS campus through the gate indicated on ticket– parking staff will direct you to designated parking areas. Access stadium at indicated ticket color entrance.
Children three (3) and over will require a ticket. Only sit in taped area matching ticket color. Do not sit in untaped areas.
Groups must be seated together-max. five people per seating area.
Allowed bags: a one-gallon clear Ziploc or a 12" x 6" x 12" clear bag- and/or a small clutch that cannot exceed 4.5” x 6.5” in size. All bags must be easily searched.
The following items are prohibited inside the stadium:
coolers, pop-ups, umbrellas, balloons, horns/noisemakers, or
unclear liquid containers. (subject to search)
CCSD Board Policy (ADD) stipulates that face coverings
are required for all people while on school grounds.
Inclement weather date will be June 19, at 7:30 PM. If that is not possible, then Monday, June 21, at 8:30 AM.
CCHS/CCSD has the authority to remove disruptive or unruly individuals.
