ColletonED Virtual Program

ColletonED Virtual Program

Learning is delivered entirely online to students, with Colleton County classroom teachers assigned to support students through 100 percent virtual lessons, 5 days per week. Students do not physically attend school, but are expected to attend their online classes at the times scheduled as if they were attending in person. The virtual school day will begin at 8:30 am and end at 3:30 pm. Between each virtual class students will have a 30 minute break before their next course.  The exact bell times will be posted on the website soon.

Beyond instruction, teachers will support student success in a multitude of ways including scheduled live lessons, pre-recorded videos, taking attendance, and grading work.  All instruction, live, teacher-directed (synchronous), and independent (asynchronous) will utilize Google Classroom, Edmentum content learning management system and teacher/district created activities and assessments. Recordings of the virtual lessons will be placed in the student’s Google Classroom for review by the student/parent at a later time.
